At Nalu Wines, our purpose is to craft wine for enjoyment while also giving back. We strive to source and produce esteemed wines that honour its place of origin and contributes to our community locally to education and philanthropy. Furthermore, we focus on partnering with producers that have WIETA or Fairtrade accreditation. We are 100% dedicated to ethical trading.
We are fortunate enough to be able to source the best available fruits from our partner growers spread across the five main regions of South Africa’s wine-producing land. Our growers’ vineyards are located all over the Cape from Olifants River, through Paarl and Stellenbosch to Worcester.
From sourcing through to our grape growers, from selecting the harvest to cellar, from bottle to table; it is a multi-year endeavour with every detail as critical as the next. But our efforts do not stop here – we see value in providing for our community. Through partnerships with organisations such as the Two Oceans Aquarium Education Foundation and the development of internship programs for local previously disadvantaged graduates, we hope to have an impact far beyond the palate with the beautiful wines that we present.
